Animal Control (2023-)

Joel McHale was back on primetime network television in 2023 with the single camera comedy Animal Control. Created by a trio of guys who have brought us, among other things, Wedding Crashers (2005), We're the Millers (2013), and The Interview (2014), which should give you some idea of the sort of comedy we're dealing with here. McHale stars as Frank, a former cop who was fired for attempting to expose corruption within the police department, so he now heads up a local animal control unit. Since this is a Fox series, the potential for some spicy content exists, though all we've gotten thus far was a sexy shot of supporting actor Ravi Patel wearing only some boxer shorts in the second episode!
