Biography

Juicy ginger Anthony Rapp is known for a lot of impressive roles, but let’s just get this out of the way. Yes, he was Daryl, the obnoxious, porn-mag obsessed friend in Adventures in Babysitting (1987). The film was actually Anthony’s on-screen acting debut, and it released when he was just 16 years old. He’s worked steadily ever since, splitting his time between the theatre and various TV series and movies. You’ll probably remember him as sweetheart Tony in Dazed and Confused (1993) (alright, alright, alright), and as Tony in Twister (1996), a member of Helen Hunt’s tornado team. He also has the honor of originating the roles of Ben in Six Degrees of Separation and Mark Cohen in Rent on Broadway, then repeating the roles in their respective film adaptions. He was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award for being part of the cast of A Beautiful Mind (2001), where he played Bender, and appeared in Blackbird (2007), directed by his brother Adam Rapp. In 2016, he shows some skin in the drama bwoy (2016), baring his beautiful bod to take a shirtless mirror selfie at the 13-minute mark. On TV, we’ve seen him as Larry Kellogg in Kidnapped from 2006-2007, playing Dr. Thurman Dexter on The Knick in 2015, Glenn in The Good Fight from 2017-2018, and yup, the priest in a 2018 episode of 13 Reasons Why. He's also shared a boy-on-boy kiss in Star Trek: Discovery. For you Trekkie’s out there, that’s Anthony playing Lt. Cmdr. Paul Stamet in the series from 2017-2022. Now there’s an adventure (porn not included).
