Betty (1992)

Betty (2001) or Alias Betty is a Claude Miller thriller about a novelist named Betty Fisher whose son has recently died. She is now in a deep depression and she is struggling to get out of this emotional black hole that she is in. Her mom tries to cheer her up by kidnapping a young man named Jose and using him to replace the boy that her daughter lost. It's very twisted, but here it is. After a slight hesitation, Betty accepted Jose as her son while Jose's real mom is searching near and far for her son. It's intense, isn't it? Jose's mom's boyfriend has some unsavory friends who don't mind breaking a few laws to find the truth. This French Canadian movie is filled with crazy twists and turns as the hunt for Jose takes criminal turns and Betty simply tries to get through her grief. While she is doing that, we are watching the one male nude scene that makes us drool. You betty believe there is a hot French Canadian cutie to watch in this movie and he shows his ass. Yves Verhoeven plays Phillippe who has a stellar scene that shows off his booty cheeks. He walks around an apartment wearing a fringe shawl tried around his waist, so we see his bare buttcheeks but we see it through blue fringe like this is some kind of peach peepshow. He walks around in the buff and plays the saxophone. That tush is playing all of the right chords.
