Ah, the classic movie move of having the main character stuck in a never ending time loop, ala Groundhog Day (1993).  Instead of this main character being an egomaniacal weather man though, we got us an ex-special forces super soldier that is constantly living the day of his murder over and over again.  When Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo) wakes up with a nasty hangover and a random babe in his bed, he's met with a machete wielding psycho looking to chop his top off!  The only difference is, this is Roy's 100th+ time in his time loop, so he makes quick work of his would be assassin...  The only other problem for Roy is that once he gets past this level, there appears to be plenty of other assassins coming after him for who knows what reason.  As he's blown up, decapitated, shot, stabbed, harpooned and dragged through the streets, old Roy begins to piece together the mystery as to why this is happening to him, as he's just an ex-soldier with a slight drinking problem.  As the clues fall into place, he realizes needs to go on the hunt for Colonel Ventor (Mel Gibson), the leader of a super secret government program who might be responsible for not only putting him in the time loop, but he might also be responsible for the annihilation of the world as we know it!  Lucky for us though, we are in the capable and muscular hands of the insanely ripped Frank Grillo, who wakes up every morning shirtless, muscular, sexy, and ready to kick serious ass!  We also get to see him in some boxer briefs in a scene, hunting for a tracking device, so enjoy that one too because for being north of 50 years old, this chiseled hunk is A+ spank bank material!  Talk about Boss Level!
