Buttercup Bill (2014) is a southern gothic indie for the modern age, and follows the disturbing, co-dependent relationship of two best childhood friends that becomes increasingly kinky and damaging. Pernilla (Remy Bennett) and Patrick (Evan Louison) live out their wildest, drug-fueled fantasies without a second thought in this surprisingly mellow and dreamy drama.
