Chasing Life (2014-2015)

The ABC Family drama series Chasing Life follows twentysomething April (Italia Ricci), a smart and snappy journalist, who is attempting to make a name for herself at a Boston newspaper by trying to impress her tough ass editor Lawrence (Vondie Curtis-Hall). When April is not tracking down a hot tip or crafting a story, she heads home to spend time with her family—her widowed mom Sara (Mary Page Keller), heady little sister Brenna (Haley Ramm), and her grandmother Emma (Rebecca Schull). Everything seems to be going pretty well until April gets news from George (Steven Weber), her estranged uncle, that he has cancer. What a downer! Don’t fret, because Richard Brancatisano lightens the mood by losing his shirt while enjoying some pillow talk with his gal. Chasing Life? More like “Chasing Richard”!
