If ever there was a reason to admire the younger generation, Colin Ford would be it. A child actor from Nashville, Tennessee, he got his start as one of Lurlynn’s (Melanie Lynskey) kids in Sweet Home Alabama(2002) at the age of six. (Fun fact: He starred with Melanie again ten years later in Eye of the Hurricane(2012). He followed that by playing young versions of Lloyd (Eric Christan Olsen) in Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003), Evan Gallagher (Jeffrey Ballard) in Smallville in 2005, and Nick (Chris Evans) in the move Push (2009). He was also the young Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) in Supernatural from 2007-2016. Talented and cute, Colin had no trouble landing roles that weren’t based on other roles, too. You’ll remember him as shy cutie Joe McAlister in the TV series Under the Dome from 2013-2015, and as the zombie-fighting Josh Wheeler in the Netflix show Daybreak (2019). While he played a high-school kid in the series, he was actually 23-years-old, so admiring his lean and toned frame in a couple of scenes is totally okay. On a larger scale, he’s been in a ton of big movies with big names, including playing Dylan Mee in Cameron Crowe’s We Bought A Zoo (2011) with Matt Damon, Jason Dixon in Disconnect (2012) with Jason Bateman, Steve Danvers in Captain Marvel (2019) with Brie Larson, Russell in The War with Grandpa (2020) with Robert De Niro, and Rickey Hill in The Hill (2022) with Dennis Quaid. Mr. Man is always happy when a talented kid grows up to be a hot man.
