Never predictable and always interesting, Dan Hedaya is one of the most prolific actors around. With a bulging… resume, the hardworking hottie will have you immediately saying, “Oh yeah, that guy,” whenever he pops up in movies (The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai , Alien Resurrection, Benny & Joon, Nixon, Shaft, The Usual Suspects). The seasoned pro appeared alongside Robert De Niro in True Confessions (1981); Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando; Clint Eastwood in Tightrope (1984); Tom Hanks in Joe Versus the Volcano (1990); Wesley Snipes in Boiling Point (1993); Leonardo DiCaprio in Marvin’s Room (1996); John Travolta in A Civil Action (1998); Denzel Washington in The Hurricane (1999); and Burt Reynolds in The Crew (2000). In between his uncredited part in Myra Breckinridge (1970) and role in J. K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), Dan could be seen in Strangers with Candy and heard in Robots, both in 2005. The amusing dude played the dads to Alicia Silverstone in Clueless (1995) and Tony Shalhoub on Monk (2006) as well as the ex-husbands of Bette Midler in The First Wives Club (1996) and Rhea Perlman on Cheers (1984-1993). But Dan really had fans laughing with his hilarious portrayal of Richard Nixon in the comedy Dick (1999). Speaking of, check out Hedaya’s Speedo-clinging turn in the Coen Brothers film noir classic Blood Simple (1984). The hairy chest is a nice touch too. In fact, we're not sure if Dan should be prouder of his body of work, or just his body!
