The pride of Jersey City, NJ, Derek Luke is recognizable as a busy actor with many TV shows and films under his belt. Starting off with guest appearances in The King of Queens and Moesha, the handsome Luke had an amazing introduction to Hollywood films starring opposite the great Denzel Washington in Antwone Fisher (2002), earning many nominations and awards for the role. From there, Luke continued his hot streak starring in Friday Night Lights (2004), Glory Road (2006), Definitely Maybe (2008), and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). Seemingly bored with gracing the silver screen, the debonair Luke also lends his talents to the small screen in recurring principal roles on Trauma, Hawthorne, The Americans, Empire, Rogue and Roots. With all that talent, swag and screen time, we're looking towards the future to see what he brings to light (hopefully some skin!)
