A professional art model who’s full name is Ed Czuchnicki, this sinewy specimen is normally found posing at Sheridan College for their School or Animation and Design, or for sculptor Timothy Schmalz, who he’s worked with for more than twenty years. He was the model for all the artist’s Jesus sculptures, such as the one titled When I Was Sick You Visited Me outside of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. He himself has a degree from OCAD University and worked as a technical illustrator at AT&T before switching to “life modeling” full time. Throughout his career, Ed has played a myriad of characters from operas and ancient tales, but our favorite has to be his nude screen debut on an episode of Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. Bringing his talents to the small screen, Ed strips down for a class of aspiring artists in the episode "Pickman’s Model", showing us his a bit of butt from up top and the side as he poses with a big stick. We mean an actual big stick, his junk his covered with a sheet. Doesn’t mean you won’t be holding your own wood though!
