Fingernails (2023)

Fingernails is a very millennial dramedy sci-fi romance about the anxiety-provoking world of dating. Jessie Buckley plays a woman named Anna who is in a long-term relationship with Jeremy Allen White's Ryan. Ryan is a typical bro who wouldn't know discord if it hit him in the balls. Anna on the other hand is in touch with her feelings, and her feelings tell her that Ryan might not be the one! So, the two go to something that exists in their world, a Love Institute, where they sacrifice their fingernails to see if they are indeed a match. They are! But Anna still has doubts. So she takes up a job at the institute to try and gain a deeper understanding of her feelings. It is there where she meets Amir (Riz Ahmed), whom for she develops serious romantic feelings. We can't relate to Anna, as we can't see a world in which we wouldn't be head over heels for Jeremy Allen White and his gorgeous body, which we peep in his shirtless scene! Plus, Christian Meer strips down to his boxers, puts on a blindfold, and tries to pick out his girl by just her scent. You Fingernailed it dude!
