Flesh for Frankenstein (1973)

Following in the footsteps of Colin Clive in Frankenstein (1931), Peter Cushing in The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), and Leonard Whiting in Frankenstein: The True Story (1973) is Udo Kier in Flesh for Frankenstein (1974). Also known as Andy Warhol’s Frankenstein, this reimagining of the Mary Shelley classic has Baron von Frankenstein (Kier) working on a couple of comely corpses. If gore and sex, or sex between pretty hot monsters, is your thing, then this is the fleshy flick for you! As such, the chiller diller includes the maid Olga (Liù Bosisio), the Baron’s son Erik (Marco Liofredi), the Baron’s daughter Monica (Nicoletta Elmi), and the Baron’s male monster (Srdjan Zelenovic). The latter actor turns out to be a real scene stealer when he goes full frontal! While Frankenstein and his assistant Otto (Arno Juerging) try to animate a DIY female creature (Dalila Di Lazzaro), the Baron’s neglected wife (who is also his sister) Katrin (Monique van Vooren) is sexually animated by the stableboy Nicholas (played by Joe Dallesandro proudly flaunting his anachronistic Brooklyn accent). This nude dude is so lewd, he enjoys a threesome with two wanton women. The skintastic act showcases Joe’s abs, pubes and shaft! In other words, his privates become public 25 minutes into the flick. About 15 minutes later, the built blonde flashes his ass in the sack. If that’s not arousing enough, Joe then displays his naked T&A at the 47-minute mark. Forget about the proverbial angry villagers, Mr. Man carries a torch for Mr. Dallesandro!
