Writer, director, actor, and Québec native Gabriel D'Almeida Freitas is a fairly well known face to fans of Québec film and television, but he's not as well known outside that realm. Gabriel worked as a writer for several years before ever appearing on camera, making a name for himself writing on SNL Québec and the acclaimed series Les Détestables before making the leap to on-screen work in 2014. Gabriel first came to Mr. Man's attention with his leading role in the Xavier Dolan film Mattias and Maxime (2019), playing the former to Dolan's latter in this story of a lifelong friendship that turns into something more. Though he does go shirtless and swaps spit with Dolan, we can't help but hold out hope for the day he slips us some of that Canadian Bacon!
