I Want You Back (2022)

I Want You Back is a critically acclaimed romantic comedy about two sad souls who get dumped by their significant others in the same weekend. Emma (Jenny Slate) is dumped by Noah (Scott Eastwood) while across town Peter (Charlie Day) gets the relationship ax from Anne (Gina Rodriguez). These two become an unlikely duo when they bond over their misery. But what's the one thing that's worse than being dumped? Being dumped by someone who starts a relationship with someone else right after you. Emma and Peter form a sort of two-person lonely hearts club, bonded over the fact that their exes are both flaunting their new relationships all over social media. So the two do what rational single people in their thirties would do - they aim to sabotage their exes' new relationships! We bet you think you know where this is going. And you're wrong! By the end of the movie Emma and Peter realize that they are perfect for each other, and the flick ends by strongly insinuating that the two form a romantic relationship of their own.
