Iggy Pop Sexy

Like his hit song “Lust for Life,” we lust for Iggy Pop! Born James Newell Osterberg, Jr. in Michigan, the world famous vocalist and lyricist went on to become known as the “Godfather of Punk” per his stint with The Stooges. The band was inducted into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. During the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s, Pop earned a reputation for his flesh-flashing performances, stage-diving antics, and popular underground songs such as “Real Wild Child (Wild One),” “Search and Destroy,” “Nightclubbing,” and “I Wanna Be Your Dog.” You can bet Mr. Man has a bone for the latter! In 1983, David Bowie recorded the Top 10 single “China Girl” which he co-wrote with Iggy, making Pop a true pop star. The Ig-ster later made the charts when he recorded “Candy” with The B-52’s singer Kate Pierson in 1990. By 2020, the sinewy stud received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The versatile guy also made his mark on the movie industry, appearing in The Sex Pistols biopic Sid and Nancy (1986); John Waters’s musical Cry-Baby (1990); Rachel Talalay’s sci-fi comedy Tank Girl (1995); Danny Boyle’s drug drama Trainspotting (1996); and Jim Jarmusch’s black-and-white films Dead Man (1995) and Coffee and Cigarettes (2003). For Sophie Blondy’s French flick L’etoile du jour (2012), Iggy exposed his abs. Ooh la la! He also thrilled fans in the English and Spanish thriller Blood Orange (2016) by literally losing his top.
