Alcatraz, Devil’s Island, Château d’If, the Tower of London, and Port Arthur are among the world’s most famous prisons. On a less grand yet equally gritty scale is K-11 (2012) — the term used to refer to the part of a Los Angeles jail that houses LGBTQ inmates. Under the direction of Jules Stewart (who co-wrote the screenplay with Jared Kurt), this sobering drama follows a record producer named Raymond Saxx Jr. (Goran Višnjić). After he awakens from a night of binging on booze and dope, he finds himself charged with the murder of songwriter Ian Sheffield (Craig Owens) who was shacking up with his wife Tia (Tiffany Mulheron). Now, that’s a Saxxy motive! Because prison guard Johnson (D. B. Sweeney) is sweet on Ray, he holds him up in the special section of prison classified for homosexuals. The place is lorded over by a ruthless transexual named Mousey (Kate del Castillo), who makes life a living hell for everyone in the ward. Desperate to connect with someone, Raymond hooks up with a transgendered girl called Butterfly (Portia Doubleday). Yet that doesn’t mean Ray can just fly away from his troubles — unless drug and money exchanges are made. Along the way, we can spot the skin on a handsome hunk named Hollywood (Billy Morrison). Fast forward to the 01:09:15  mark to see Mr. Morrison flash his tattooed back and fine ass! If that’s not hot enough, a shirtless Goran struts his stuff in boxer shorts. K-11? More like a perfect 10!
