Kingdom Business (2022)

Praise the lord and pass the tissues for this new gospel music industry series from BET+! Kingdom Business follows The Jordans, a mega church pastor and his family that are the biggest stars in Atlanta's billion dollar gospel recording business.  They don't always practice what they preach though as the patriarch, Calvin Jordan (Michael Beach) might talk of family values, but behind the scenes he's rubbing elbows with some nefarious characters all in the name of keeping his illicit affairs under wraps, including the now murdered stripper Dani (Kajuana S. Marie), who had a hidden camera video of their trysts.  When Dani's sister, Rbel (Serayah), goes viral singing at her funeral, the Jordans know that she is a star in the making but their public morals might need to become more flexible because Rbel also dances at some of Atlanta's finest gentleman's clubs under the name Chardonnay! As it turns out, the god-fearing good guys in the record business also have as many secrets as the bad guys, like record producer Julius "Caesar" Jones (Michael Jai White), who also wants to make Rbel a star.  As both sides of of the music biz collide, the various families find that they have more in common behind closed doors than they thought!
