LaMonica Garrett has always been a natural athlete. Born in San Francisco, the hunky, ebony stud played football in his younger years and was so good he landed some tryouts with NFL teams after college. When football didn't work out, he turned to a newer sport called Slamball which combined basketball and trampolines. He was that league's leading scorer, and for years was considered one of the very best Slamball players in the world. You’ll dream about slamming your balls into his buns when you see what he looks like without his shirt on! While he'd been in a movie called The Blues (2008) already, in 2008 he popped up one One Tree Hill in a Slamball related episode, which really kicked his acting career into gear. For the next three years he did one offs of stuff like CSI: Miami, NCIS, Suits and Arrested Development before he landed the recurring role of Deputy Sherriff Cane on Sons of Anarchy in 2011. The Adonis was, well Adonis on the hilarious parody, The Hotwives of Las Vegas, then played a basketball coach in Daddy's Home (2015), but really became a big deal when he was head of the Secret Service Mike Ritter on 43 episodes of Designated Survivor and Executive Officer of the USS Nathan James, Lt. Carlton Burk on fifteen episodes of The Last Ship. But we realized we wanted to be bunkmates of the SS E-X- with LaMonica when he was on the first season of Battle of the Network Stars. With UFC star Ronda Rousey mirin, LaMonica sits atop a dunk tanks as Corbin Bernsen throws softballs at a target to try and dunk the hunk. The other athletes have to joke about how his abs make them feel out of shape, which is reasonable because they are absurd. LaMonica was The Monitor on a few DC Comics shows like The Flash, Arrow and Batwoman, but has most recently been playing the former Pinkerton Agent turned Oregon Trail Guide Thomas on the Yellowstone prequel 1883 and Commander Bill Cox on Amazon's Chris Pratt military drama The Terminal List.
