Lord of Illusions (1995)

The Clive Barker-directed supernatural thriller Lord of Illusions (1995) stars Scott Bakula as Harry D’Amour, a private detective who is hired by Dorothea Swann (Famke Janssen), the wife of Philip Swann (Kevin J. O’Connor), a famous and wealthy magician, to investigate threats against her hubby. With much hesitation, Harry agrees to the job, and it’s only a matter of time before he find himself caught in the middle of a web of lies, magic and craziness that’s punctuated by a cult that is trying to resurrect Nix (Daniel von Bargen), its long dead, and very powerful leader, an evil sorcerer killed by Philip.
