M. Butterfly (1993) is an adaptation of Madame Butterfly from David Cronenberg set in 1960s China. A French diplomat named Rene Gallimard goes to China where he falls in love with a famous opera singer named Song Liling. Song, however, is not what she seems. She has political connections and secrets that threaten to entangle Rene Galimard into a web of lies, drama, and trouble. Oooo, those are our favorite kinds for a film. It is based on a Tony-award-winning play that was based on a true story that is all about love, fantasies, and what happens when your idea of a person does not match up to who they actually are. The moral of the story is that love is blind because, of course, Song is actually a man who has disguised himself as a woman in the Peking opera in order to do a spy mission for the government. Jeremy Irons stars and he is young, hot, and sexy as Rene Gallimard who unwittingly falls for a man. What's the big deal, Jeremy? You guys definitely have fun together! Jeremy clearly enjoys a blowjob that he gets from his lover in one scene where Jeremy is also shirtless. John Lone plays Song Liling and he is sexy when he is finally out of drag. He takes off his clothes in front of Jeremy to reveal his male body. Jeremy acts like he is not into it, so John tries to remind him of their love by caressing him and asking him if he remembers. How could he ever forget that cute booty? We can't!
