If you haven’t watched the Amazon original series Catastrophe, you’re missing out on some of actor Mark Bonnar’s best work (and also a really good show). The Scottish actor plays Chris, complete with his thick Edinburgh accent, and delights with a toned torso and fabulously naked ass, all under a head of beautiful silver hair. The BAFTA Awards in Scotland agreed with Mr. Man about his performance, giving him a nom for Best Actor in 2015 (he played the role from 2015-2019). He actually won one, though, for his role as Colin Osborne in the UK series Unforgotten (2017). His playful smirk and brawny brogue are quite prolific all over UK television, with roles in both series and mini-series. A late acting bloomer, he didn’t make his first on-screen appearance until a 2001 episode of Rebus, when Mark was 33 years old. His charm and talent quickly caught on, though, and by 2005, he landed the regular role of Bruno Jenkins in Casualty. All told, Mark has been in over 200 episodes of over 35 different series, and acted in nine mini-series and five TV movies. He got some accolades for his part as Gary Carmichael in the mini-series Apple Tree Yard (2017) with Emily Watson, and you can see him on American television as Neil in the UK, US, Sweden collab series on AMC, Humans, in 2018. You can catch him in a few feature films, too, like Take Down (2016) with Jeremy Sumpter, and Operation Mincemeat (2021) with Colin Firth. And just so you can fall a little more in love with Mark, his resume also boasts that he is highly skilled at playing the drums, does both yoga and rugby, and knows how to juggle.
