Everyone knows Michael Imperioli for his memorable role as the cat squashing Christopher Moltisanti on the critically acclaimed crime drama The Sopranos. Well, at least Mr. Man stood up and took notice of him on the mob drama, mainly due to his two shirtless, underwear-clad scenes. But before he was portraying a connected dude on HBO, this native New Yorker opted to study at the Lee Strasburg Institute instead of going to college. That ended up being a solid decision, since soon he was using his tough guy looks and manly charm to score roles in movies like Goodfellas (1990) where he played Spider, the shot in the foot punk that Tommy kills for being disrespectful, a reporter in Malcolm X (1992), the leukemia stricken buddy of Leo, Bobby in The Basketball Diaries (1995), and the orgy attending actor Ondine in I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). In 1999 he landed his most famous role, Tony's protégé Christopher on The Sopranos. As far as shirtlessness goes, all we got was a wire pat-down and some post sex posing but it got Michael an Emmy in 2004. After the Bada Bing shut down, Michael took his thick mane and New York charm to recurring on the shows Detroit 1-8-7 and Californication. We saw how well he aged as the ready for sex Lex in Mad Dogs, who goes for a swim with his bros until a woman with a gun shows up and point it at them. Michael was Governor Cuomo in Escape at Dannemora and legendary trainer Angelo Dundee in One Night in Miami...(2020) but the best may be yet to come for Michael.
