A lifelong sleepwalker we'd happily sleep with, the mesmerizing Mike Birbiglia is an American actor, filmmaker, author and comedian originally from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Inspired by the one liners of Steven Wright, Mike did both standup and improv while at Georgetown, then interned for Conan O'Brien before making his late night debut on the Late Show With David Letterman in 2002. A star in the standup scene, Mike has released a bunch of comedy albums, with My Secret Public Journal Live even beingnamed one of the best comedy albums of the decade by The A.V. Club. While he'd done some screen work in stuff like Cheap Seats: Without Ron Parker, Girls, and the super strange flick Stanley Cuba (2007), Mike's career really took off in 2012 when he wrote, directed and starred in an adaptation of his one man show about living with rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder, Sleepwalk with Me (2012). Our eyes were rapidly moving to his meaty chest when, after playing the youth counselor Patrick in The Fault in Our Stars (2014) and Tom in Trainwreck (2015) Mike flashed some skin in the the comedy Don’t Think Twice (2016), which he wrote, directed, and starred in. It's the story of a comedy team who struggle when one of their members becomes a huge star. We get a great look at Mike’s manly, hairy chest in the film when he is sitting naked in bed with his laptop.
