Modern Family (2009-2020)

ABC's mockumentary-style sitcom Modern Family became a ratings juggernaut and an Emmy shoe-in for the eleven seasons it ran from 2011 to 2020. The showfollows three families living in the Los Angeles area that are all related through the grouchy old man, Jay Pritchett (Ed O’Neill) and his kids, the uptight Claire (Julie Bowen) and his also quite uptight gay son Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Get your scorecard ready to keep track of all the children if you weren't a big fan of the show. After fathering those adult children with his first wife DeDe (Shelley Long) Jay has gotten remarried to the much younger Latina babe, Gloria (Sofía Vergara), who has a son from a previous marriage (Manny Delgado). Mitchell and his flamboyant husband Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) have an adopted daughter, Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons). Claire and her goofy magician hubby Phil (Ty Burrell) have three children: the ditzy Haley (Sarah Hyland), the absurdly smart Alex (Ariel Winter), and the downright dumb Luke (Nolan Gould). From Phil's life in real estate and eventually owning a magic store, to Gloria's life working for her dad, Alex's quest to get into an elite college, Hailey's cycling through hot boytoys like the doofy musician Dylan (Reid Ewing) and the man nanny Andy (Adam DeVine), and even the introduction of a baby between Jay and Gloria named Joe (Jeremy Maguire), no plotline went unexplored in this iconic, modern updating of the tried and true family sitcom formula. Over the course of eleven seasons, there was tons of guy candy on the show. Whether it was hot Brits like David Beckham stripping down for a hot tub soak or Stephen Merchant going shirtless as he slips down a waterslide, those foreign blokes were one hundred percent smokes. As for the regulars, Eric Stonestreet had a bit of extra meat on his bones, but that doesn't mean we didn't get a boner seeing him in bed with his ginger hubby Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Ed O'Neill shows he's still a tasty meal, shirtless in the sauna with Jesse, while Adam DeVine looked mighty fine lying in bed after sex. Ty Burrell had us saying thank you (ty) for the scenes where he DILF's out in an ice bath. But the hottest scene in the show is when a parade of fellas including Dominic Burgess, Kevin Berntson, Christian Barillas and Sam Lloyd display a wide array of body types going for a stroll in their bathing suits. If only Modern Family didn't keep things so dang family friendly!
