My Fake Boyfriend (2022)

The New York City dating scene is about as cutthroat as it gets when it comes to young people finding love that isn't just a quickie.  For Drew (Keiynan Lonsdale), he is sick of seeing a revolving door of dating app guys come and go from his bed, so he wants to try and make it work with Nico (Marcus Rosner) in a long-term thing.  The problem comes when he finds out just how terrible a boyfriend Nico can be, regularly cheating on him and making him feel jealous.  So instead of going out and living his best life as revenge, his two best friends decide to fake the best possible life online for him with all the technology the internet has to provide.  My Fake Boyfriend follows Drew, his ex, his friends, and his hook-ups along the way as the fake social media sex symbol they created to reverse catfish a guy to make him jealous becomes a sensation and monster that cannot be stopped from gathering followers! Lucky for us, there is so many shirtless studs in this movie, including leads Keiynan Lonsdale and Marcus Rosner, but it's Andrew Meikle making his Nudecomer debut that peaks our pants the most!  Also, the shredded Samer Salem is a winsome wonder with his washboard abs and Brooker Muir's muscles getting roughhoused that round out this modern Rom-Com!
