A teenager dreams of rock stardom in Not Fade Away (2012), the directorial debut of Sopranos creator David Chase. John Magaro stars as Doug, a high school student who spends his days practicing the drums and dreaming of rock stardom. When the band founded by Doug and his buddies starts to get some traction, it seems like their dream may come true after all. But at what cost to Doug's relationship with his girlfriend Grace (Bella Heathcote)? Unfortunately, the band members’ clothes don’t really fade away.
