We’d love to hitch our star to Paddy Considine’s paddy wagon. Even if the British babe’s name doesn’t ring a bell, his hunky looks will strike a nerve in your crotch. After making his movie debut in A Room for Romeo Brass (1999), the University of Brighton grad appeared in Jim Sheridan’s Oscar-nominated drama In America (2002) and Ron Howard’s boxing pic Cinderella Man (2005) starring Russell Crowe. He also portrayed Rob Gretton, the manager of Joy Division and New Order, in 24 Hour Party People (2002). We were partying when Paddy popped up (and out) in another rocking biopic Stoned (2005), also known as The Wild and Wycked World of Brian Jones. By 2015, Considine acted alongside Tom Hardy in Child 44 and Michael Fassbender in MacBeth. To our great pleasure, the prolific performer flashed his fanny in the disaster comedy The World’s End (2013). We’re not crazy about the end of the world, but we’re mad for Paddy’s rear-end! Equally popular with critics, Paddy picked up the Empire Award for Best British Actor for Dead Man’s Shoes (2004), which he cowrote. But not before Considine was named Best Actor at the Thessaloniki Film Festival for his turn in Last Resort (2000). The actor (My Summer of Love), writer (Dog Altogether) and director (Tyrannosaur) won two British Academy Film Awards and three Evening Standard British Film Awards. Of course, if the esteemed eyeful is looking for more accolades, Mr. Man can give Paddy the grand prix he has in his pants!
