Richard Benjamin Nude

Tall, dark and quirky, Richard Benjamin gained fame for playing uptight and neurotically funny characters on stage (Barefoot in the Park), on film (The Marriage of a Young Stockbroker), and on TV (Childrens Hospital). Early on, the young entertainer left New York City to attend Evanston’s Northwestern University where he met his wife Paula Prentiss. In addition to producing two children together, the couple’s collaboration could be seen in the play The Norman Conquests (1975-1976), in the sitcom He & She (1967-1968), and in the movies Follow the Boys (1963), Catch-22 (1970), No Room to Run (1978), and Saturday the 14th (1981). Yet Richard’s most memorable role had him romancing Ali MacGraw in Goodbye, Columbus (1969). The romantic comedy marks both his movie and nude debut! Not only does Dick don bathing trunks, the high-strung hunk flashes his back, shaft, and ass! Although Richard won a Golden Globe for his performance in The Sunshine Boys (1975), he should have been rewarded for his moon! Through the years, Benjamin racked up credits for acting (Love at First Bite, Scavenger Hunt, Westworld) and directing (Mermaids, The Money Pit, My Favorite Year). Before he banged Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Deconstructing Harry (1997), Benjamin co-starred with Carrie Snodgress in Diary of a Mad Housewife (1970); Karen Black in Portnoy’s Complaint (1972); Joan Hackett in The Last of Sheila (1973); and Jessica Lange in How to Beat the High Cost of Living (1980).
