Biography

Handsome up and comer Rome Flynn went to Benedictine University on a basketball scholarship, but gave up hooping when his social media pages exploded and a talent scout wanted to put him in movies. Rome made his acting debut in Tyler Perry's movie The Haves and the Have Nots (2013). We had the hots for Rome after that one, but he really first caught our attention by acting in the made for TV sequel to Drumline (2002), titled Drumline: A New Beat (2014). He’s only a supporting character in the film, but manages to steal the show with two knockout scenes: one in which he’s standing around in a club when a man approaches him and starts kissing him (he might not even be gay but when in Rome...), and the other in which he does some casual ironing while shirtless, showing off his insanely ripped body which a group of women in the room proceed to (understandably!) ogle at. You can't beat it! While everyone wanted to bang him, Rome moved on to an episode of MacGyver as well as one of NCIS: New Orleans, before Rome reteamed with Tyler Perry in A Madea Family Funeral (2019). But Rome and his well built but not in a day body are best known for TV work, including a long running role as R.K. in the TV version of The Haves and the Have Nots, also from Tyler Perry, and as Sam Keating's secret son Gabriel Maddox in How to Get Away With Murder. Rome was constantly shirtless on that show, whether it was playing basketball, having some shower sex, or even just doing some pushups as he watches TV. Most recently Rome's been playing David on Dear White People, former orphan Zende Forrester Dominguez on The Bold and the Beautiful, which won him a Daytime Emmy, and Tevin Wakefield on Netflix's superhero drama Raising Dion. Grab the fire extinguisher, folks—Rome is so hot he’s burning!
