She's Having a Baby (1988)

She's Having a Baby (1988) marked a big step forward for writer and director John Hughes, who had cut his teeth on films mostly about high schoolers. Jake (Kevin Bacon) and Kristy (Elizabeth McGovern) are newlyweds who, as the title might indicate, are expecting their first child. The couple goes through all of those big "firsts" throughout the course of the film, though sadly none of them involve the male leads showing anything of substance. Both Kevin Bacon and co-star Alec Baldwin bulge out in their undies in the flick, but like all of Hughes' work, it's very hetero-normative stuff, nothing kinky, just Bacon working out in his boxers, sporting in a semi. No big whoop.
