For today's Throwback Thursday, we are picking a super hot one. After watching Mr. Man's best butts of the 1970s playlist, I can't stop thinking of this butt: John Daniels in Black Shampoo. Mr. Daniels' derriere is something to celebrate, so let's not waste another moment.
Actor John Daniels was a Gary, Indiana born babe who began his career as a songwriter and was part of the group the Love Machine Soon after that he let his entrepreneurial spirit take hold of him as he started a magazine called Elegant and took on a leadership role in the Black Economic Union. That's a lot for a young man from Indiana! He didn't get involved in acting until he took two turns in front of the camera as a contestant on The Dating Game. We'd gladly date 1970s John!
After getting a bite of life on camera, John became hungry for more and began acting in blaxploitation films which is where he found his spot in life. He broke through as a hot hairdresser in Black Shampoo which slyly exposed his shaft. Move over Shaft, there's a new dick in town.
After that, he starred in a few more flicks like Mean Dog Blues and Getting Over, but 1988's Flesh-Eating Mothers was his last film before he stopped acting entirely. Thank goodness he left us with some seriously sexy dudity. Wecould neverwash that man right out of our hair!
