For today's Throwback Thursday let's go across the pond and take a look at 1979's UK coming-of-age drama Quadrophenia. If you like naked men in bathtubs, then this British classic is for you!
This is the ultimate mods vs. rockers movie about a young man played by Phil Daniels who is filled with angst. He turns his attention to his mod friends which basically just means he rides scooters, does drugs, and gets into fights at Brighton Beach. At least they look good doing it! They are fueled by music from The Who and flanked with young stars like Sting (who doesn't go naked, but we felt we should warn you he's there). Mark Wingett shows his ass though!
Phil's friend Ray Winstone is a mod, too, and a total cutie. There's a lot of sexual tension between the two boys, too. Or is that just us? The boys are also obsessed with Sting's character in a way that feels like a crush.
