The Constant Gardener (2005)

Based on the John LeCarré of the same name, The Constant Gardner (2005) is a thriller that follows Justin Quale (Ralph Fiennes), a bottom-tiered British diplomat in Kenya, trying to solve the mystery behind the murder of his wife, Tessa (Rachel Weisz), an Amnesty activist with a passion for social justice that puts her nose where it didn’t belong. Told in a series of flashbacks, the viewer is shown how Justin and Tessa met and fell in love. Justin discovers a larger conspiracy behind the death of Tessa, which leads him to start digging for information in all the right places. While the film brings its fair share of suspense, there’s not a lot of skin. We get a couple looks at Ralph Fiennes impressive physique as he gets sexy with his wife. Ralph sure lives up to his surname, because he sure is fine!
