The Devil's Hand (2014)

The spooky thriller The Devil’s Hand (2014) centers on the bizarre occurrences in the closely-knit village of New Bethlehem, a community that is controlled by a bunch of weird religious elders. Something begins to smell really rotten in the backward town, especially when six girls are born on the sixth day of the sixth month. While most normal people don’t even notice the satanic-like equation, the elders seem to believe that the recurrence of the number six hints at something more sinister and evil. Move ahead eighteen years, the six birthday-sharing girls—Mary (Alycia Debnam Carey), Ruth (Adelaide Kane), Sarah (Leah Pipes), Rebekah (Jennifer Carpenter), and Abby (Katie Garfield)—all of which are close friends, will soon be celebrating their 18th birthday, which greatly concerns Elder Beacon (Colm Meaney) because he believes the prominent chick of the six, Mary, has some sort of connection with Satan, but Mary’s daddy, Jacob (Rufus Sewell), strongly disagrees with this assessment. Before long, a dark-hooded figure begins to kill the teenagers, earning the attention to local sheriff (Ric Reitz), which, for some reason, displeases Beacon. Is the death of the teens the fulfillment of some prophecy? Don’t know. All Mr. Man knows is that Drew Grey fulfills our need for nudity, flaunting his tan lines and sweet buns as makes the most of a rope swing teasingly hanging from tree by the lake. Don’t know about The Devil’s Hand, but Drew will have you hand exploring your loins!
