The Last Mercenary (2021)

You're going to need to stretch out your groin muscles so you don't pull something and it's not because of all the French beefcake popping their tops in the action comedy, The Last Mercenary, it's because this is a throw back to some classic Jean-Claude Van Damme moves!  That's right, JCVD has still got the flexibility to drop down into the splits so well on the other side of 60, that it'll make you want to try to do it yourself!  This Netflix joint follows ex-secret service agent Richard Brumére (Jean-Claude Van Damme), who has been retired for a LONG time.  He now lives a quiet, secluded life where no one bothers him and he doesn't bother anyone.  That is until word gets to him that his estranged son has now been falsely accused of being a drug trafficking kingpin.  Richard knows that his son is a good kid though as he's been keeping tabs on him from afar, so when he uses his particular skill set to find out what is happening, he learns that it is in fact a bureaucratic blunder and case of mistaken identity that has landed his son in hot water with the French government.  So this martial arts expert breaks out his old bag of roundhouse-kick based tricks and starts putting boot firmly to side of face to save his baby boy!  While we don't get to see any nudity in this one, we get plenty of shirtless studs with Nassim Lyes Si-Ahmed as the gun toting bad guy in a banana hammock, Alban Ivanov's bulge scooter around town in some tighty-whities, Eric Judor taking a dip in his drawers, Samir Decazza in his speedo, and of course, JCVD still looking as buff as he was in Kickboxer (1989) without his shirt on in a couple scene!
