The Mentor (2014)

Inspired by a true story, the Lifetime Network movie The Mentor (2014) follows happily married couple Brian (Nic Bishop) and Elizabeth (Jes Macallan) and their two daughters Pippa (Maggie Scott) and Meghan (Abigail Scott). The happy family’s life takes a turn for the worse when they get into a tragic car accident that claims the live of Pippa. While the family tries to move on from Pippa’s death, the stress and sadness becomes too much, causing the once happy couple to separate. To make ends meet and to further attempt to heal from her daughter’s death, Elizabeth resumes her career as a teacher. Soon enough, Elizabeth is assigned to mentor Paul (Aaron Douglas), a disturbed student with a dark and violent past. Surprise, surprise, Paul develops a crush on Elizabeth that leads to some unsettling results. Since this is a basic cable flick, there’s not much skin to indulge in. Nic Bishop shucks his shirt to show off his amazing physique while making out with his lady friend. Wow! Mr. Man would love to mentor Nic!
