From master of horror Wes Craven, the father of Freddy Krueger, comes the terrifying tale of life, death, and voodoo, The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988). The film stars Bill Pullman as a Harvard anthropologist who's sent to Haiti to retrieve a mystical voodoo powder which is said to bring the dead back to life. Bill will be the hottest hottie in Haiti as he enters the scary netherworld that exists between life and death. This world is full of ancient curses and zombies, and you'll feel like a zombie that wants not brains but Bill. Bill's bulge is bangin' while he's seen tossing and turning during a nightmare. It might be a nightmare for him, but to fans it was a dream come true. Later on, Pullman's powerful pecs are seen as he's tied up and tortured by the hands of an evil voodoo warrior. This film is more of a slow burn than Wes Craven's general hack and slash flicks, and unlike his other films, this one is based (at least in part) on a true story. A book of the same name claims to be the true story of the real life anthropologist Wade Davis. We never see Pullman pull his serpent out, but The Serpent and the Rainbow will turn any rainstorm into sunshine.
