Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015-2019)

Netflix has a way of creating original content that strikes a chord with viewers, and nothing has amassed a cult following quite like comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Written and produced by 30 Rock’s Tina Fey, Schmidt begins with the escape of Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) from a cult that she has been a part of for 15 years. Instead of letting it get her down, Kimmy decides to embrace all that life has to offer, and moves to New York City where she gains friends, and some jealous enemies, as America’s most lovable ex-cult member. Her roommate Titus Andromedon (Tituss Burgess) happens to be a beefy gay guy, and in season 2, episode 4 he happens to swap spit with the equally hunky Mike Carlsen!
