I'm not going to lie to you guys - I'm a hugeJim Sturgessfan. Like, a huge one. I've always been really into British actors - Hugh Grant and Colin Firth simultaneously stole my heart with the debut of Bridget Jones' Diary many moons ago - and his charming smirk nabbed me when Across the Universe came out. It was his breakout role, and he's been successful ever since.
The man brilliantly mixes up Hollywood blockbusters and smaller indie movies, only taking roles that speak to him - including his first TV shows, Close to the EnemyandFeed the Beast. And ok, yes, there are sex scenes in both of those, and they're great. But our best nude scene from Jimmy so far is One Day.
Now, Sturgess has a big movie (Geostorm, costarring Gerard Butler) looming, along with the long-awaited release of London Fields, starring Amber Heard, Billy Bob Thorton, and Cara Delevigne - the latter of which includes three tumultuous affairs.
With two big-name movies like that starting out his 2017, we can only hope that the coming year will the be the biggest yet for the British star - and that he'll expand his repertoire to be a little more risque.
