God's Own Country is one of the best gay films of the last decade. The British movie and its steamy stars Alec Secareanu and Josh O'Connor engage in multiple hot scenes that show their asses, their cocks, and their passion. Apparently, Amazon Prime has a problem with that. Amazon Prime is currently censoring the gay scenes in the movie by cutting them out completely. Um, wtf?! How can you possibly show this movie without showing them banging each other?
Fans immediately noticed the missing scenes and word spread fast to director Francis Lee. Lee took to Twitter to ask U.S. viewers not to stream the movie from Amazon until they put the scene back as this censored version is obviously "not the film I intended to make". Well, duh! How could he tell the story of their romance without any of these romantic scenes? It turns out that this was not Amazon's fault as the director said, but the distributor's. Samuel Goldwyn Films did the edited version which they gave to Amazon.
