A transplant to Germany at the age of four, Aram Arami was born in Northern Iraq, and forced to flee the country due to political persecution of his father, a Kurdish prosecutor. After living in an asylum home for a year, Aram began to make Germany his home, and acting his goal. He began his on-camera career as Nico als Kind in Jedem das Seine (2009), aka To Each His Own, when he was just 17 years old. Two years later, he was starring as Timo Kraft in the TV series Die Stein in 2011. True fame struck when he was cast as Burak in the blockbuster hit Fack ju Göhte (2013), aka Suck Me Shakespeer. When released, it was the first film in six years in German cinema to sell more than five million tickets. Naturally, there was a sequel, and Aram repeated the role for Suck Me Shakespeer 2 (2015), taking home a Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actor. In Suck Me Shakespeer 3 (2017), we get to see the actor shirtless, sexy, and built as he tends to a Cleopatra lookalike. Seemingly one to find a role and stick with hit, the actor played Osman Göker in the TV movie Servus, Schwiegersohn! (2019), then again in Servus, Schwiegermutter! (2021) (translation for both having to do with in-laws). He also appears as Tarik Büyüktürk in the TV series Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr from 2020-2021, and the follow-up movie of the same name in 2021 (which Google translates as the very curious The Three From the Garbage Disposal).
