Promising Young Woman writer-director Emerald Fennell’s follow up film Saltburn has been the talk of Tinseltown for quite a while, and now it finally has a premiere. It was just announced that the Oscar winner’s sophomore outing, which touts Barbie herself Margot Robbie as one of its producers, will open the BFI Film Festival in London on October 4th before coming to theaters November 24th.
What makes the film so hotly anticipated? Described as a “wicked tale of privilege and desire,” it’s about an Oxford University student played by Irish hottie Barry Keoghan who gets invited to the family estate of a wealthy classmate played by tall, handsome Euphoria star Jacob Elordi for “a summer never to be forgotten.” Ya don’t say!
Comparisons are already being drawn to 1999’s The Talented Mr. Ripley, which boasted scenes where you can see Jude Law nude and Matt Damon nude, and a few newly released photos seem to at least have the two leads seen shirtless from far away as they kick back, and even more nudity was teased in a shot that appears to be after a raging party on the grounds.

Both men have already popped their nude cherries on screen, with The Banshees of Inisherin actor going full on nude in 2016’s Mammal’s and Jacob showing off his sculpted seat meat in Euphoria’s first season, so getting naked for an even more prestigious project isn’t much of a jump.

But the real clue that Barry and Jacob might be flaunting more of their physiques in the fall is the recent social media pic that shows the two have been working out together. Jacob has always been pretty ripped but the Eternals star has gone from slender and pasty to suddenly shredded. There’s no way he’s bulking up just to keep his body under wraps, right?
