What’s really interesting about Darwin Shaw is that before he was an actor, the British-born babe was a surgeon, specializing in tropical medicine and working as an emergency room doctor. But after a friend gave him a book about creativity, Darvin, ignoring all his detractors, left behind the medical world and tried his steady hand at acting. It looks like Darwin’s doctor skills helped him kick off his acting career, especially considering that he portrayed a paramedic in his debut on the firefighting drama London’s Burning and a doctor on the show Harry and Cosh. But it was Darwin’s first feature film role as Fisher, James Bond’s first kill, in the opening of Casino Royale (2006) that put him on everyone’s radar. Darwin had us gripping more than our rosary beads when he brought his hotness to the mini-series The Bible, portraying the apostle Peter, a role which he reprised in the film Son of God (2014). We finally got a closer look at Darwin’s muscular body, thanks to his appearance in on the television mini-series The Red Tent.
