Anyone who watched the Game Of Thrones final season premiere this Sunday remembersJon Snow's death-defying inaugural flight on one ofDaenerys Targaryen's dragons. But no one remembers it quite as well as Snow portrayer Kit Harington, who opened up to HBO's Game Revealed about how he almost lost a testicle while filming the scene!
Harington had to ride the equivalentof a mechanical bull on steroids - what's called "buck work" in the biz - in order to get the dramatic shots, and said this about his almost mishap:
Buck work is not easy. I think what sums up the buck for me was there was a bit where Jon almost falls off. The dragon swings around really violently, like this, and my right ball got trapped, and I didn't have time to say ‘Stop!' And I was being swung around.
In my head, I thought, 'This is how it ends, on this buck, swinging me around by testicles, literally.' Sorry. Probably too much information.
