This weekend marks the release of the long-awaited Black Mass, a biopic about Irish mobster Whitey Bulger. Johnny Depp stars in what will likely be one of the most impressive performances of his entire career (which is saying a lot), but where there is an surplus of prosthetics, thereis a shortage of nudity. In honor of Depp's prolific and impressive career, though, we'd like to take a little journey through his movies. We call it: Johnny Depp Undressed.
1. Baby Depp: Private Resort(1985)
Before we had Captain Jack Sparrow's dreads, we had young Johnny's ass to gaze upon. This comedy, which follows two boys around the private resort they work at, is all about trying to get laid, which we can all appreciate. May we just say what a beautiful ass it is? We've certainly seen a few in our day.
2. Shirtless Depp: Before Night Falls(2001)
In 2000's Before Night Falls, J.D.played alongside Javier Bardemin a story about a gay writer named Reinaldo Arenas. It's not a particularly happy taleArenas ends up being imprisoned under Castro's government and ends up dying of AIDSbut seeing Depp in drag will help rewarm the cockles of your heart. 3. Prosthetic Depp: Mordecai (2015)
And then in Mortdecai, Depp plays the bumbling protagonist trying to survive the onslaught of special agents and his wife's antics.
