Staff Picks: War Movies

Our Staff Picks column is a new addition that takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version has a decidedly nude angle, as we suss out which films from a certain genre with great nudity. This week: war films!

War is hell, but these guys make it look hot. War films are a wide genre and there are A LOT of films that focus on war or take place during war time. These films that I have selected focus on the boys in battle and they all have good nudity. No need to fight for your right to see some ass. These war films give us a reprieve from hell with dudity.

Apocalypse Now

Apocalypse Now is one of the most famous American war movies ever made. Francis Coppola has made a lot of masterpieces and Apocalypse Now is definitely one of them. This 1979 war film took us deep into the jungles of Vietnam - shortly after the US had just left the war. It's bloody, sweaty, and gorgeously shot. Plus the guys are good-looking, too.

Martin Sheen has a famous scene in which he is drunk, high, and punches a mirror. He starts in his underwear and then sits down with his bloody first and his undies off. We very briefly see his cock in that shot!

Hacksaw Ridge

This 2017 war film was based on an Oscar-nominated documentary from 2004 by the same name. The fictionalized version stays true to the original story with Andrew Garfield starring as a medic in World War II. He is on the front lines for the heat of it, namely during the Battle of Okinawa. Garfield does not go nude, but someone else does!

Luke Pegler goes nude and does a series of army exercises in boot camp with is pants off. We get to watch his ass as he crawls through the mud. Pegler? I'd love to peg him with buns like those.

Jarhead

this 2005 film was based on a memoir that focuses on the banality and futility of war. Jake Gyllenhaal plays the lead character and the guy who was the author of the memoir, Anthony Swofford. He's a sniper in the Marines who is sent to Kuwait along with his boys. They yearn for violence, but the boys don't see a ton of action. They train, they play games, they party, and they wait for war. In this way, Jardhead is one of the best war movies in the modern era. It shows how much of war is waiting around and how these tours still affect these men negatively for the rest of their lives.

We were affected positively when Jake Gyllenhaal showed his booty. Evan Jones also shows his ass during the group shower scene. We want to salute these boys and their lack of shorts.
