Rutger Hauer sadly passed away this summer at home in the Netherlands. This hunky Dutch actor was sometimes known as The Dutch Paul Newman for being such a sexy beast. Since he's passed away and it's Throwback Thursday, we wanted to highlight this hottie. #TBT to Rutger Hauer!
Rutger hails from Utrecht in the Netherlands and instantly got attention for his tall, blue-eyed good looks. This 6'1" dreamboat began acting because his parents were actors. Easy, breezy. He, of course, saw global success because his fascinating looks and talents got him roles as everything romantic heroes and villains.
In his early work, hegot nude and romantic in Nicolas Roeg's Eureka. The 1983 film about finding gold in thearctic stars him as a guy who quickly shows his balls when he gets out of bed which is a solid gold scene.
In the 1985 film Flesh + Blood, he was somehow even more sensual. He wears a string thong that really accentuates his buttcheeks and package.Plus there was asex scene that showed him allsteamy in a hot tub. Oh, yes please!
Rutger is best known for his work in Blade Runner as Roy Batty as well as his roles in True Blood, Sin City, Batman Begins and more. This legendary actor will be greatly missed, but we are so happy he left us with these hot scenes to remember him by. RIP Rutger Hauer!
