Brian de Palma directed this comedy about three friends in the late 1960s experimenting with free love and filmmaking. One of the friends is an aspiring filmmaker who is also a peeping tom. He loves to spy on people and snap photos...especially if they are nude. He spies on Jonathan Warden who gets it on in a scene that shows off his ass and his dick.
Interestingly, the plot of Greetings feels slightly similar to the plot of the 1960 horror flick Peeping Tom about a photographer who doubles as a serial killer that likes to photograph his victims right before their death. That film, directed by famous British director Michael Powell, was so controversial that it essentially ruined the director's career. Greetings, on the other hand, is a comedy that makes light of a peeping photographer whose perversions are porny rather than stabby.
