We just got a new movie in - a 2016 Chilean LGBT indie titled You'll Never Be Alone - and boy does this thing need some unpacking. It premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival to minimal buzz, however, the harrowing flick was praised for addressing Chile's provincial attitudes towards gay relationships. Sadly it's based on the true murder of gay Chilean Daniel Zamudio in 2012.

You'll Never Be Alone follows gay youth Pablo (Andrew Bargsted) and his father before and after Pablo suffers a brutal hate crime. For as serious as You'll Never Be Alone is, it's not without moments of levity. The Hollywood Reporter in particular praises the film's opening depiction of two boys (Pablo and his lover Felix (Jaime Leiva)) passionately making out in the street:

When the camera catches up to them, they're in an alley, pressed up against the wall, kissing hungrily. It's a startling sight for viewers accustomed to coyer gay-themed American fare, in which LGBT adolescents, if they exist, spend more time agonizing over identity than getting to first base.

This sense of youthful gay abandon is also evident in a couple of very passionate gay sex scenes! Andrew Bargsted and Jaime Leiva play childhood friends, and it looks like in adulthood they've learned to play nicely together. Leiva relentlessly thrusts into the breathless Bargsted from behind doggy style in a gay sex scene lasting almost a full minute (full scene at top of page)!

That first sex sesh goes down just 12 minutes into the movie. Then just ten minutes later, they do the deed again!

Watch You'll Never Be Alone for an important lesson in gay history. Watch the sex scenes for gay porn.
