Those of us who’ve been praying to see Sweet Tea show more sexy skin on screen since his outstanding nude debut in the coming-of-age flick Call Me By Your Namemight actually be getting our wish in a BIG way! Turns out director Luca Guadagnino is still planning on making a sequel to the 2017 Oscar winner that focuses on Timothee’s character Elio’s continuing his journey into manhood. Count us aaalll the way in!

The original novel that the film was based on actually does have a sequel by author André Aicman that was released in 2019, which saw Elio pursing a different relationship before reuniting with Oliver (the character played by Armie Hammer in the film). One can only assume that Armie will not be returning due to the recently surfaced abuse allegations and weird predilections, so the question is will the role be recast or will the next film tell another story entirely?

But it’s safe to say that however it works out, audiences will likely get what they’ve been clamoring for - more naked Chalamet!
